Job Description:

• We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help with the creation of CI/CD pipelines for a instrumental sonar/acoustic system in our US Fleet of Submarines called ARCI

• The ARCI program is a way for the Navy to capitalize on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) rugged server and embedded computing technology to make quick periodic upgrades of submarine sonar signal processing capability

• This technology will be integrated in ships for the US Navy, Royal Australian Navy, British Navy, Canadian Navy, and several US allies

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipeline

• Design and maintain build systems for multiple languages and/or components

• Software development in Linux environment (RHEL) with shell scripting

• Apply experience with Virtualization (KVM/Openstack) in Agile Development environment (Jira/Confluence)

• Apply Static Code Analysis experience in developing more effective builds process

• Utilize source code management toolsets (GIT/Artifactory) and maintain build systems for multiple languages and/or components

• Apply containerization experience for builds and deployments

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• BS in Computer Science or related degree

• 2+ years of experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Python or Bash (Masters degree and internship can replace years of experience)

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Set (git, jira, jenkins)

• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker

• Experience with a Red Hat Linux OS

• Eligible for a US Secret Clearance

Preferred:

• Experience developing webpages or UIs to display Jira data points

• Experience with Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SonarQube, and Terraform

• Experience scanning for vulnerabilities in the code

• Experience testing in the pipeline and integration testing
