THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Property Management business is looking for an Associate Director to join the team! In this role you will be responsible for supervising the property management team responsible for all functional operational and financial activities of a large growing portfolio of properties (Commercial, Retail and Residential).

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of property management services.

  • Foster strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Assist in the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on key performance indicators.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for portfolio growth and expansion, including new business development and client acquisition.

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of property management consultancy jobs in collaboration with senior management.

  • Ensure the timely resolution of property management issues, maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction.

  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.

Communications Skills Required:

  • Ability to comprehend, analyse and interpret the most complex business documents.

  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.

  • Ability to write reports using distinctive style.

  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.

  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

What you’ll need:

  • A degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • MRICS or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in property management, project management experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive growth and improve operational efficiency.

  • Proficiency in property management software and other relevant technology.

  • Drivers license and/or immediate ability to obtain.
