Job Title: Procurement Specialist HYBRID
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will handle client inquiries, triage requests, respond or escalate issues, and reach out to subject matter experts within our procurement team. You will also support the procurement requisition process, initiate PO change orders, and conduct client education, including Oracle training and monthly Q&A office hours. This is an excellent opportunity for someone focused on optimizing client experience and transactional excellence while contributing to the evolution of our procurement processes.
Responsibilities
Support the procurement requisition process, contract release (e.g., PO creation), and contract pull functions.
Verify financial coding on all incoming procurement requests.
Recommend system and process enhancements and test evaluations as needed.
Respond to client inquiries regarding all facets of contracting and procurement in a timely manner with superior client relationship management skills.
Generate and distribute management reports according to established procedures and deadlines.
Serve as a subject matter expert on financial approval policies, authorized signers policies, and procurement policies, and apply these policies to real-world situations with internal stakeholders.
Collect and analyze procurement and sourcing data using industry best practices, audit and interpret data trends.
Identify and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure adequate instruction and technical support.
Communicate procurement and sourcing policies and organize complex data in an easy-to-understand manner.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills

Ability to deliver high-quality results consistently.
3 years of work experience.
Project management, procurement, and purchasing experience (1-3 years, preferably indirect).
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle).
Foundational experience with sourcing vendors and supply chain management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (open to various fields, including supply chain and art history).
Good communication skills and detail-oriented.
Some project management experience.
Work Environment
You will work in a supportive and collaborative environment with hours from Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. As a contractor, you will receive 5 days of PTO and paid holidays after 30 days. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
