Microsoft Corporation Partner Development Manager - SAP Microsoft Industries in Malvern, Pennsylvania

Microsoft is searching for a talented leader to drive joint solutions for sales and strategic partnership engagement with SAP. In this capacity, as a Partner Development Manager- SAP Microsoft Industries you will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive strategic SAP and Microsoft Industry solutions to serve our customers and partners to drive our latest technologies adoption. Travel is estimated as requiring 10-25% of time, as most of the work can be done from home or through a local Microsoft office.

Responsibilities

  • You will maintain close oversight of the joint industry sales pipeline, support sales teams in closing strategic deals, and ensure sales acceleration between both companies.

  • You will be the subject matter expert for Microsoft and SAP sales engagement and will provide guidance and support to local sales leadership and PDMs.

  • You will also work closely with industry solution product and sales teams on defining GTM strategy with SAP and you will drive innovation for industries, leveraging SAP and Microsoft Solutions.

  • Lnowledge of SAP Industry Solution sales, partnership management, technology and cloud services are required along with knowledge on SAP RISE and SAP BTP integration.

  • Effective communication skills are critical and the ability to present complex ideas and concepts to a wide range and size of audiences, from sales and marketing managers to CEO level.

  • Success will be measured based on your impact to sales pipeline, Azure revenues generated from joint solutions’ sales, offers you bring to market and the effectiveness of driving high return on investment (ROI) on all partnership investments.

  • This is a high impact role that will influence strategic direction, provide executive visibility, and allow you to demonstrate execution excellence.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field AND 5+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or an advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field AND 8+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, capabilities and solutions that generate partner growth and innovation.

  • SAP Industry Solutions Expertise. Overall Order to Cash, Finance to Pay and Supply Chain SAP and non-SAP solutions.

  • Solutioning Architecture for Industries leveraging SAP and Microsoft solutions.

Partner Development Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,100 - $185,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $144,000 - $203,500 per year.
