JLL Maintenance Technician in Malvern, Pennsylvania

This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field.You will work as part of an engineering team of 3 at JLL managed commercial campus in Malvern, PA.

Job title: Maintenance Technician Location: Malvern, PA 19355 Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with a rotating on-call schedule for after-hour emergencies Reporting to: Facility Manager Type of Employment: Full-Time w/JLL employee benefits within 1 month of employment Additional Perks: overtime pay and on-call pay, company uniforms, cell phone, & laptop Estimated compensation: $23.32 to $28.56 hourly paid bi-weekly The compensation range listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. What your day-to-day will look like:Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts

Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment

General interior maintenance

Minor plumbing repairs

Completes special tasks that include but are not limited to; painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned.

This position requires the employee to be on call for after-hours emergencies.

Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.

Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.

Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.

Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs

Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed.

Required experience and technical skills High School diploma or GED equivalent; Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable

Minimum of 1-3+ years of relevant work experience; general building repair & maintenance in the commercial industry

Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license

Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS)

Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall

Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or drive

Strong customer service skills
