Job Summary: The Human Resources Generalist will support the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) Department including HRIS administration, onboarding/offboarding staff, processing payroll, health and welfare benefits including open enrollment, leave of absence, compliance, employment law, culture engagement and interpreting and writing company policies and human resources practices. Up to date knowledge of and ensuring compliance of Federal, State and local labor laws and regulations along with Cenero policies. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. HRIS management, maintaining the system, implementing (process) improvements, ensuring data quality, and analyzing and reporting on the data in the HRIS Working directly with broker on benefits management including annual Open Enrollment and new hire enrollment Subject matter expert in responding to team member questions and creating communications. Administers all aspects of the 401(k), including but not limited to data accuracy, communications, employee deferrals, audits, compliance testing and 5500 reporting. This includes tracking and acknowledgement of money transfers. Leaning in and assisting on high volume overflow from shared email inboxes. Supports and in some instances lead HR Team special projects and initiatives. Coordinates leave of absences, disabilities and/or restricted duties or ADA accommodations with employees and managers. Supports processing of Payroll and Prevailing Wage/Certified Payroll, answering employee questions, auditing for errors and distributing checks. Pre-Payroll and Post-Payroll process. Comply with Federal and State Tax Laws, including setting up new "worked in" states and taxes. Monitoring and updating HRIS with yearly state tax changes, including Unemployment Insurance Rates. Support Team with New Hire Orientations, including Onboarding, I9, E-Verify, training Support HR Team with review of background checks, pre-adverse and adverse action letters. Assist in creating and then communicating to employees Job Aids, How to Guides and FAQ sheets. Compliance Reporting including EEOC, AAP, OFCCP. Backup HR Team, including HR Director Performs other duties as assigned. Location:  This position is On-Site 5 days a week.  1150 Atwater Drive, Malvern, PA 19355 Required Skills/ Abilities: Exceptional verbal and written communication Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Uses good judgement when making decisions, understands when to escalate to avoid risk. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn payroll processing, human resources information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications, Ultipro experience preferred. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred. Three to five years of human resource experience required. Payroll processing experience required. SHRM-CP a plus. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at time.
