Description We are on the lookout for a dedicated Data Governance Analyst to become a part of our team. In this role, you'll be a crucial part of enhancing our data governance framework, driving data quality initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will also be collaborating with various domain teams as well as business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with domain teams to set up and monitor data quality rules and controls.

• Work closely with both business and technical teams to ensure alignment with established governance policies.

• Take the lead on data governance initiatives for assigned data domains.

• Assist in the selection and implementation of data governance tools to streamline our processes.

• Develop and implement a data governance framework that aligns with our organization's goals and regulatory requirements.

• Establish and maintain stringent policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard data integrity and security.

• Identify and document the necessary data quality requirements, metrics, and thresholds.

• Analyze and address data quality issues, including conducting root cause analysis and planning remediation.

• Draw on your knowledge of BCBS 239 principles to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Develop workflows and dashboards to keep track of governance and data quality metrics.

• Use your SQL skills to query databases, validate data, and support data quality assessments and lineage tracing.

• Work with technical teams to implement lineage tracking and data traceability across our systems.

• Conduct training sessions to increase stakeholder awareness of data governance principles. Requirements

• Proficiency in Data Governance, with the ability to establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.

• Hands-on experience with Informatica, demonstrating the ability to create, manage, and manipulate data.

• Strong understanding of Data Quality principles, with a focus on ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data.

• Familiarity with Data Lineage concepts, with the ability to trace and analyze the lifecycle of data.

• Experience in Metadata Management, capable of managing and organizing data effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, demonstrating the ability to write and execute complex SQL queries.
