Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to assist our client in optimizing their financial processes. This role is critical to maintaining positive cash flow and ensuring timely payments from customers for a growing organization. • Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices with accuracy and timeliness.

• Apply incoming payments to customer accounts, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions.

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with clients on overdue invoices to ensure prompt payment.

• Address customer inquiries regarding invoicing, payments, and discrepancies

• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales and customer service) to resolve billing-related issues efficiently.

• Prepare accounts receivable reports and assist with month-end closing processes.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to accounts receivable.

  Requirements

• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).

• Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

• Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and standard invoicing practices is a plus.
