Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee the on-site construction of a new RNG facility in up-state New York. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management, proven leadership skills, and direct experience with RNG or similar projects, including the installation and commissioning of equipment and systems related to gas collection, upgrading, and distribution.

responsibilities:
Manage all on-site activities for RNG facility construction, ensuring compliance with project plans, safety standards, and timelines.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, dairy farmers and suppliers to maintain project efficiency and reduce impact on dairy operations.
Supervise and evaluate on-site construction teams, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards.
Oversee installation of RNG-specific systems, including anaerobic digesters, biogas upgrading equipment, and pipeline interconnections.
Monitor project progress and prepare detailed daily and weekly reports for stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and permits.
Troubleshoot and resolve construction issues to minimize delays and ensure project success.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
7+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 2 years in renewable natural gas or similar/related industries.
Solid understanding of RNG or similar facility components, including gas upgrading, piping, and flare systems.
Proven leadership and communication skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with construction software and tools, such as Procore, AutoCAD, or Primavera P6.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications, such as PMP or LEED AP.
Familiarity with environmental permitting and compliance requirements in the RNG industry.
