Your Role
As an Operational Care Specialist, you will coordinate and execute air logistics operations, ensuring that customer shipments are managed efficiently and compliantly. You will work closely with customer care teams, carriers, and partners to meet shipment requirements, from bookings and document generation to performance monitoring and issue resolution. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality service and operational excellence in line with Kuehne+Nagel's global standards.
Your Responsibilities
Coordinate and align customer deliverables with customer care teams, partners, and suppliers to manage transportation of customer cargo.
Handle operational tasks using Business Process Automation (BPA) tools and related systems.
Review shipping instructions to clarify discrepancies and ensure compliance with export regulations and routing details.
Report operational problems, disputes, or discrepancies to supervisors or managers immediately.
Monitor carrier and vendor performance, escalating issues if commitments are not met.
Resolve rate or performance discrepancies proactively.
Ensure all documentation and data entries are accurate and compliant with air transport regulations.
Work closely with the Air Logistics Operational Care Manager to meet team objectives.
Your Skills and Experiences
1+ years of experience in Air Logistics or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling complex tasks.
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, stress-oriented environment.
Familiarity with business process automation tools is an advantage.
A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
