Lotus Field Healthcare Agency Personal Care Attendant (PCA) in Malden, Massachusetts
Job Summary: We are hiring friendly, compassionate, and service-oriented Personal Care Attendants/ Caregivers in Melrose, Malden, Revere, Everett, Chelsea, Winthrop, as well as in many other communities we serve. As a PCA, you will assist clients with various daily responsibilities, helping them maintain their health and wellbeing by providing such services as medication reminders, grooming, bathing, toileting and housekeeping Responsibilities: Assist clients with basic hygiene and grooming tasks such as showering, getting dressed, shampooing their hair Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks such as washing dishes, sweeping and vacuuming floors, making beds Help with meal preparation Physical assistance with walking and getting around the house Experience: Previous experience in caregiving, or related fields such as personal care, home health, or working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of CPR and First Aid is a plus. Experience in memory care is beneficial. Ability to prepare meals for clients is an advantage. Familiarity with home care practices and protocols.
