Corteva Agriscience Assistant Field Manager in Malang, Indonesia

General summary of the role:

Manage corn and rice volume planning and acreage allocation with all production territories to meet delivery demand in liaison with Supply Chain Lead. Monitoring and control field operation to achieve target quality, productivity also manage volume planning and acreage to meet delivery demand in liaison with supply chain coordinator.

Responsibility:

  • Ensure the company’s cores values which are SHE, ethics, and respect for people are in ZERO incident. This is especially analyzing the PSM safety matrices and have prevention plan for workplace safety environment in all field areas

  • Plan and develop people with HR in short and long term for future business growth

  • Plan for continuous improvement, monitor and control corn and rice field operations to achieve target quality and productivity through production research as directed from Production Leader

  • Coordination with Finance to create corn and rice grower compensation and with Accountant to plan, monitor, and control on corn and rice field capital and operations expenses for all territories

  • Manage corn and rice volume planning and acreage allocation with all production territories to meet delivery demand in liaison with Supply Chain Lead

Education:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture related field

Experience:

A minimum 2 – 5 years previous work experience in Field Manager position or related agricultural industry

Knowledge, skill, and abilities:

  • English Proficiency (written and spoken)

  • Computer skill (Ms. Word, excel, power point)

  • Strong organizational skills
