About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Director of Rooms for Front Office Department to join Jumeirah Group.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Member of the Executive Committee with responsibility for development and Execution of the Hotel’s Strategic Plan
Prepares the annual budgets and monthly forecast for all areas overseen.
Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office, Housekeeping.
Conducts effective and timely staff performance appraisals
Ensure the standards are uploaded and managed on Brand Jumeirah.
Ensures that the monthly financial outlooks and results for the Front Office and Housekeeping Departments are accurate and on target.
Ensures strong inter-departmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better Guest and Colleague satisfaction
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Essential
5 years’ experience as a Director, Rooms Division, or greater position in a large, high volume luxury hotel or resort.
Direct experience in housekeeping and front office operations
UAE/Middle East experience
Proven track record of being able to execute complex procedures and plans
Superior problem-solving abilities.
Desired:
Preferred to be experienced in the KSA Saudi Market.
University Degree or equivalent, preferably in Hospitality or Marketing
