About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced skilled SQL developer who can write SQL queries, build custom procedures, analyze complex data, and perform a variety of analyses towards support of analytics use cases.

The person will collaborate with other analysts, define best practices, and optimize data processes to support data initiatives and projects delivery. This person will be a key member of the procurement analytics team responsible for the delivery of reporting and ML/AI analytics use cases. Additionally, the person will have experience in working with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with procurement analytics team on supply chain analytics & reporting products, including management of monthly reporting processes.

• Designing and developing SQL databases and data models and writing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, analyze, and visualize data.

• Develop KPI reporting and analytics deliverables by integrating supply chain metrics

from multiple systems and data repositories.

• Creating effective and relevant reporting deliverables in response to incoming BAU requests.

• Collaborating with EMEA and Global Supply Chain teams, gathering reporting requirements, delivering insights, and responding to user feedback.

• Understand the needs of technical and business stakeholders, interpret them, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations using active and reactive communication.

• Using business intelligence and visualization tools such as PowerBI to build data products.

• Understand and support team members to apply a range of methods to investigate, analyze data, and synthesize findings.

• Active contribution to data cleansing and data quality improvement initiatives. Furthermore, help build data quality monitoring & reporting solutions.

• Apply standards and best practices to present, communicate, and disseminate data. Support junior members, establish processes, standards, and templates for others to follow, and improve efficiency and quality of visualizations.

• Knowledge sharing, providing dashboard demos and training sessions to users and wider business stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

• Experience working with complex data systems and sources to provide insight and analyses.

• Experience in developing, implementing and optimizing SQL scripts and procedures.

• Experience in creating fast and efficient database queries, including joining and cross- referencing cells from several tables.

• Experience in the use of advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

• Possessing data analysis skills allows you to create effective, accurate and actionable insights to non-technical audience.

• Understanding of how data flows within various systems to provide input on requirements for databases to ensure data is organized properly for reporting and analytics.

• Demonstrate ability to identify and understand data dependencies and requirements to be able to provide accurate reporting.

• Demonstrate a deep interest in advanced data analysis, drawing actionable insights from raw data and information to help analytics use cases.

• Demonstrate skill in a number of data visualisation tools and techniques, and advanced analytics technologies including the use of ML/AI.

• Experience of working on data initiatives, projects and/or analytical products.

• Experience of working in fast paced analytical teams with self-motivation to deliver results.

• Experience of working with advanced Pivot tables, Power BI and Tableau platforms.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant degree.

4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.

Strong proficiency with SQL and similar popular databases.

6+ years of experience in PowerBI and Tableau.

• 4+ years of experience in Snowflake solution.

• Advanced understanding of data management and visualization practices.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including working with advanced pivot tables.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms like Azure.

• Desirable – experience of Procure to pay systems and procurement function.

• Desirable – experience with JIRA and Confluence.

• Desirable – experience in programming languages such as Python.
