Are you ready to step into a multifaceted role that has a direct impact on driving our business forward?
As a Business Unit Sales Coordinator (BUSC), you will be at the heart of our sales operations, working closely with our Business Development Manager (BDM), Business Unit Leader (BUL), and Bid Manager. Your contribution will be crucial in crafting bespoke, winning proposals and driving sales success.
Your Role and Impact
Attracting Clients:
Engage & Impress: Assist in preparing materials for client events, prospective meetings, and presentations.
Research & Inform: Create comprehensive information packs on prospective clients through diligent research.
Network & Connect: Collaborate with the BDM, BUL, and Bid Manager to organize and possibly attend client and industry events.
RFI and RFP Process:
Detail-Oriented: Complete RFI questionnaires and keep the BDM updated on progress.
Collaborate & Execute: Work with the BDM, supported by the Bid Manager, to manage the proposal process from start to finish.
This includes:
Creating kick-off decks and responsibility matrices.
Supporting the development of win themes.
Structuring responses and writing compelling proposal answers.
Liaising with subcontractors for quotes.
Ensuring final documents are polished through creativity, design, editing, and proofreading.
Preparing site visits, presentations, and workshop materials.
Keeping the bid tracker updated.
Knowledge and Process:
Maintain & Share: Prepare and update professional profiles, account profiles, and case studies for the Business Unit knowledge library.
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry knowledge and innovations, sharing insights with your team to enhance bid responses.
Business Unit Support:
Administrative Excellence: Provide general administrative support to the Business Unit Leader and the team.
Report & Organize: Prepare and issue reports for stakeholders, organize team meetings, and maintain the Business Unit Leader's diary if required.
Collaborate: Attend meetings to take notes or minutes, ensure follow-up actions, and deal with frequent queries from site-based staff and clients.
Innovate: Develop systems and procedures to improve the efficiency of the Business Unit.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
BS Degree Holder or equivalent standard, which will include English and Maths qualification.
Experience:

Skills and Characteristics:
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Reasoning: Ability to analyze and interpret documents effectively.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial terms and the ability to perform intermediate calculations and analysis.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360, particularly Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SharePoint, InDesign, SmartSheet, and Salesforce is beneficial.
General: Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a creative mindset, is proactive, organized, and can multitask under pressure.
