This is a Maintenance Generalist 07L position located in the Magee, Ms area.
Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor's instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Starting pay rate: $25.90/hour with attendance incentive
Schedule: Mon - Friday 7am to 3pm. Flexible scheduling required as workdays/hours may change in the future. Holiday work and/or weekend work required. Must reside within 30-mile radius of facility.
Requirements: Must have a minimum of 4 years of years of maintenance and/or mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program. (Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 4 years). All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history. This facility accepts rehires after 180 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
