The Team:

This is a team that sits within S&P Global’s Sustainable1 (S1) business, an organization focused on Sustainability data, analytics, and solutions; the role will interact with the S1 and SPGI’s divisional Sustainability teams as well as with professionals within the sustainability space.

The Impact:

You will play an integral role in the development, buildout and launch of new regulatory & reporting products.

You will work with various internal stakeholders and external customers in defining and executing a strategy around regulatory & reporting products and solutions across a suite of capabilities. Examples of products include European regulation (EU Taxonomy, SFDR), global and regulatory and reporting frameworks (CSRD, ISSB, US SEC, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the execution of the regulatory & reporting product roadmap, with customers and stakeholders to document user/persona workflows, uncover market needs, partner with cross functional teams including Commercial, Research, Technology, Marketing to bring products to the market.

  • Oversee the full end-to-end process from a product perspective, including solving issues and prevent any possible delay in the product development process.

  • Engage with customers and commercial teams as part of product development to incorporate feedback and evolve the product using agile methodologies, prioritizing work for development resources.

  • Ongoing review regulatory updates and include feedback from Commercial teams and customers.

  • Develop regulatory & reporting related materials, for internal and/or external use.

  • Improve product governance related to ESG by thoroughly documenting methodologies and feedback, in line with changing regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience in Product Management/Development experience within the financial industry. Previous consulting experience is a plus

  • Experience working within the Agile framework

  • Natural curiosity about our products and market trends and how we can serve them

  • Experience with ESG market: market needs, competitive landscape, methodologies, regulatory landscape and market trends

  • Tech savvy – understand latest technologies for desktop and feed product development

  • Ability to influence, negotiate and build trust (SPGI leadership and across S&P Divisions); must be strong communicator

  • Self-starter that can work independently with little supervision

  • Juggle multiple projects

  • Capable of building out and influencing a network of partners and resources from existing pool of talent in and outside ESG teams.

  • Command respect with senior audiences both internal and external

  • Collaboration across global teams and with multiple functional roles including technology, data & content operations, client services

Compensation/Benefits Information :

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
