About AWS TechU:

AWS TechU is a 12-month program designed to launch your career in cloud technology. It's perfect for recent graduates and early career professionals, even if you have limited technical experience.

Program Structure:

• 6 months: Cohort-based training

• 6 months: Hands-on, on-the-job experience

• Learning methods: Digital and classroom training, hands-on labs, and real projects

What You'll Do as an Associate Solutions Architect:

• Help customers implement cloud technologies

• Solve complex technical challenges

• Design scalable and flexible cloud systems

• Advise customers on technical solutions

• Build relationships with various stakeholders

• Contribute to the tech community through presentations, writing, and workshops

Basic Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field OR equivalent training, certifications, or experience

• Interest in learning about cloud-based solutions

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn programming languages like Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C+- Good communication skills in English and one of: Spanish, Dutch, or French

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly

• Basic understanding of networking, databases, or operating systems

• Experience with system administration, network administration, or programming

• Previous exposure to cloud technologies (school projects or work experience)
