Your work week will be fluid, with the majority of your time focused on engaging with customers as you plan and prepare for meetings, and deliver technical presentations, demos, and workshops. Responsibilities
As a Technology Specialist, you will own and win the technical decision of customers by demonstrating the value of Microsoft’s cloud apps and innovation services. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring technical wins for core technologies by independently driving technical discussions with customers. Improving customer interactions through feedback and observation.
Demonstrating and overseeing demonstrations (e.g., architectural design and proof of concept [POC] sessions) of solutions based on specific Microsoft products through initial engagements.
Engaging in partner sell-with scenarios by collaborating with partners to carry out technical engagement activities and acting as a trusted source of knowledge.
Supporting partner technical capacity by identifying resources to scale and aligning with Microsoft training offerings.
Sharing competitive insights from customer sessions with colleagues and escalating competitive situations to influence compete strategies.
Using knowledge of customer context and solution or portfolio expertise to build credibility with customers.
Providing strategic, technical input based on Microsoft capability at the account level to contribute to strategy development.
Consuming and leveraging readiness materials to expand domain knowledge and practices expertise by communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues to expand knowledge of architecture.
Demonstrating new and updated products to increase internal virtual teams' product understanding.
Qualifications
With your ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation and articulate technical concepts with a commercial lens, you will be well positioned to succeed in this role. You will also be able to demonstrate:
Extensive technical pre-sales, account management or consulting experience
A background in software development
Practical knowledge of cloud, hybrid, and on-premise infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
Experience either working for, or with, enterprise scale organisations
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldOR equivalent work experience
