Amazon Senior Program Manager, Amazon Grocery Logistics in Madrid, Spain
Description
Amazon Grocery Logistics (AGL) Supply Chain is responsible for the online grocery delivery fulfillment strategy across the Amazon Grocery network including topology design, capacity planning, network optimization, store launch strategy and execution, and scenario-planning for physical stores and FCs.
The AGL team is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to own the transition of our World-Wide (WW) network customer coverage proposition (VP goal).
In a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, you will:
Use strategic and collaborative skills to ensure organization readiness for the transition from business and technical stakeholders,
Use analytical, technical skills to make network recommendations based on your analyzes of large volumes of data,
Gain alignment from business and finance Leadership on critical coverage decisions for each site within the world-wide Amazon Grocery Logistics network.
Key job responsibilities
• Owning the WW transition of our existing and future sites coverage to new shapes (VP goal),
• Partnering with Retail, Finance and Operations teams to define optimal coverage. Outputs feed directly into business financial and strategic plans,
• Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to ensure overall organization readiness for the transition, including the creation of working-backwards plan of milestones, with tracking of completion,
• Deep-diving tools functionalities and data sources with technical teams to ensure proper back-end data flow after the transition,
• Running simulations and making recommendations to support topology decisions from leadership regarding our sites' coverage,
• Synthesize complex quantitative data into simple, clear and concise findings to drive business decisions,
• Developing tech requirements to ensure our fulfillment network can scale to address future challenges and growth,
• Creating innovative solutions and processes to find new ways to evaluate our network, and serve our customers more efficiently.

Basic Qualifications
Master's degree
Experience in program or project management
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Experience with data modelling and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
Experience leading process improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
