Our Workplace Team is part of Enterprise Operations Function, the successful individual will play a key and high profile role in managing the corporate office in Tres Cantos, Spain.
The main responsibility of the Workplace team is ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations and experience to provide best-in-class environments to drive the business forward. The successful candidate will be proactive and creative and will be encouraged to express new ideas on improving the overall workplace, ensuring that we are using our resources - of both the team and our finances, to the optimum.

The role requires a hands-on and customer, stakeholder and cross-functional partner-focused individual who will be able to drive excellence within our culture.

You must be willing to give and receive feedback, and be open to developing yourself professionally through constructive and regular feedback conversations. You must be adept at building, maintaining and when necessary, repairing relationships across the team and business. This role requires an individual who is willing to be visible within the business, their team, across the Regional Workplace Team and Enterprise Operations. This role is for individuals who are passionate about Workplace and equally passionate about developing themselves in this field and their teams.
The role reports to the Director of Workplace, EMEA based in London.
The role:
Directly lead and inspire the Workplace Operations & Experience teams who oversee all building operations, moves, adds or changes, front office, corporate logistics, events support, and small construction & engineering projects.
You’re required to understand all the moving business parts in the market and share the relevant context with your team and functional partners to help them deliver their best work / Ensure business needs are fully understood and we are proactively delivering an overall EO (Enterprise Operations) strategy that supports business objectives.
Possess a deep curiosity about the business, colleagues and team to build effective relationships and business solutions where needed.
Develop and manage a strong communication strategy on all levels to ensure cohesive stakeholder engagement across the business, sharing any process change, service enhancement or workplace related impacts to the business.
Build and lead your team in a way that ensures our real estate assets are able to support operations without business interruption.
Proactive financial management of workplace and real estate costs to ensure Netflix money is being spent wisely.
Partner with Space & Occupancy planning, Real Estate, Security, Program Delivery and Employee Health & Safety teams across different time zones.
Collaborate & align with cross functional partners such as, Talent, EHS, AV, Ntech Ops, Events, Internal Comms to ensure we are constantly providing a frictionless, safe & secure workplace and responding to incidents that will occur 24/7.
Role profile:
Ability to lead and grow in-house workplace teams sometimes working across multiple sites.
Strong focus on senior stakeholder engagement and ability to build relationships at all levels throughout the business.
Passionate about creating a great place of work and collaboration for employees & visitors.
Strong working knowledge of technical building operations and a view as to what great looks like.
Strong people and organizational leadership skills.
Ability to influence decisions of key stakeholders, internal clients, and external vendors.
Ability to make strategic decisions and implement innovative ideas in a fast paced and complex environment.
Ability to partner closely with Finance, Talent and other key support teams.
Ability to understand and translate business requirements into service needs and deliverables.
Ability to present your ideas, gain buy-in and take on feedback to adjust where needed
Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in managing high-performing teams and a crazy focus on excellence.
5+ years of experience in a similar role, including managing corporate buildings and leading teams across various functions.
An innovative mindset with the ability to drive exceptional workplace services and operational improvements.
Strong experience in vendor management, stakeholder communication, and multi-location leadership.
Fluency in Spanish and English is a must, any additional languages are a plus.
