The Role
We are seeking a Content Associate who will be based in Madrid (Spain). The successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick-thinking, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail. This role will focus on the operational excellence of the content team, specifically on Non-fiction and Content Acquisitions so organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate document distribution and content information flow, with emphasis on updating, maintaining, and championing the use of Netflix tools and databases internally.
Coordinate licensing deal negotiation and manage the execution of agreements across departments.
Act as a liaison with various departments to coordinate information sharing and address incoming requests.
Oversee legal clearance process for original content.
Track licensing title schedules and key dates for delivery, amendments, and start dates.
Gather, track, and enter data among multiple platforms.
Update and manage internal databases/trackers.
Track incoming material such as pitches and scripts.
Input content data, such as translations, into our internal systems.
Complete administrative duties around Content department workflow.
Maintain flexibility and openness to take on additional tasks as necessary to support the department.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working as an assistant or coordinator preferably with a media background.
Proficiency in Google Applications (including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail, and Drive)
Experience reviewing and executing licensing contracts is additive to the role.
High level of organization, detail orientation, and ability to time-manage across multiple deadlines.
Willingness to learn how to use Netflix's proprietary software.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information.
Ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding how to prioritize and respond accordingly.
Good judgment, and strong critical thinking skills.
Proven communication skills; must be articulate and professional both in written and verbal form.
Ability and willingness to share a point of view, creative ideas, and thoughts - confident whilst always curious!
Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
