Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

• Improve supplier quality performance by sending timely defect data. • Assure supplier compliance to GEHC QMS and regulatory requirements through supplier monitoring process.

• Develop positive relationships and work closely with Global Sourcing Leaders and Modality Sourcing Leaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes. • Interface with Suppliers, Engineering, Service, Manufacturing and Sourcing to drive Quality improvements that minimize the Costs of Quality, specifically Failed on Arrival/Install (FOA/FOI) issues, Field Failures, and Factory defects.

• Lead team to approve supplier selection through robust qualification processes. • All other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications/Requirements :

  1. 3.0 cumulative overall GPA or better (in a 4.0 scale) 2. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.4. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required. 5. Knowledge and understanding of GEHC Purchasing Controls Procedure and associated Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that all purchased product and services conform to specified requirements. 6. Able to work for a minimum of 28 weeks. 7. Must be a full-time student pursuing a degree in Engineering or Business.

Desired Characteristics :

  1. Prior intern or co-op experience in design engineering or manufacturing. 2. Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving. 3. Proven ability to adapt to difficult situations. 4. Demonstrated leadership skills and community involvement.
