U W-MADISON DIV. CONTINUING STUDIES Scientist II in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: This position\'s primary responsibility will be to conduct organic and regenerative food systems research with the Organic and Sustainable Research and Extension program at UW-Madison. This position will work with a dynamic group of students, scientists, and outreach specialists to facilitate UW-Madison-based and community-based research focused on local/regional, organic, agroecological, and regenerative food production systems and supply chains throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest. The position is housed in the Department of Plant Pathology in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, with strong collaborations with the across the University. Duties primarily focus on fostering, stewarding, managing and expanding internal research partnerships within UW-Madison as well as external partnerships with farmers, state and federal agencies, and nonprofits. Additional projects and responsibilities related to outreach of research results may also arise. Note: This position requires the ability to travel independently.
