Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

The Quality Engineer will support both customer complaints and non-conforming parts. They will review data to identify trends and investigate those areas. Additionally, the Quality Engineer may support supplier desk audits, communicating with suppliers and using templates to aid these efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Support customer complaints and non-conforming parts.

  • Review data to identify and investigate trending points.

  • Conduct supplier desk audits and communicate with suppliers.

  • Use templates to support supplier audit efforts.

  • Quality engineering

  • Root cause analysis

  • Medical device experience

  • CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)

  • ISO standards

  • Quality systems management

  • Quality management system

  • Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) software

  • cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices)

  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

  • Non-conformance management

  • Non-conforming material handling

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  • 3+ years of experience supporting non-conforming parts and materials

  • 3+ years of experience supporting customer complaints

  • 3+ years of experience reviewing data and trends

  • 3+ years of experience working in a cGMP environment

Work Environment

This person would work for a medical device

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
