MSA PROFESSIONAL SERVICES Project Engineer - Water (2347) in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: MSA has an opportunity for an experienced Water Resources Engineer out of our Madison, WI office on the Water Service Line. While the ideal candidate will be in the Madison area, MSA will also consider applications from candidates from our other 16 office locations. This person will be engaged in preparation of studies and design plans for water resources projects throughout the upper Midwest including stormwater and floodplain management as well as stream, lake, and wetland restoration projects. We serve a variety of state and local municipalities as well as selected private sector clients. While we often support other civil engineering disciplines, we are devoted to the science and engineering of water resources. Ideal candidates will have a thorough background in hydraulics, hydrology, and/or water quality science and will be comfortable working in the regulatory environment. The work you may do Direct and manage the prepare plans, specifications, and bidding packages for construction projects Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling for a variety of projects including: Municipal stormwater management plans (drainage, flooding, water quality) Restoration projects; wetlands, streams, lakes Technical report writing GIS analyses and CADD design in support of water resources projects ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: What you bring Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required, a Master\'s degree a plus Degree emphasis on hydraulics, hydrology, or water resources engineering required 4+ years of previous consulting experience in the field of water resources engineering required PE license required (WI PE preferred) Prior plan production and project management experience required This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
