JOB REQUIREMENTS: Nursing Assistant Perioperative - Pre/Post PACU Part Time - 33575 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 70% FTE, 28 hours per week, 8 hour shifts between the hours of 5:00am - 8:30pm. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department. Pay : UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. External hires may be eligible for a \$2,100 sign on bonus (pro-rated on FTE). We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to: * Coordinate with Nursing Supervisors, assist with patient placement needs of ICU, IMC, general care, or outpatient placement. Communicate with units and ancillary staff. * Settle surgical/post-anesthesia patients, obtain vitals, reposition patients, set up suction, assist with airway, empty drains, empty foleys - per RN request, assist with normoglycemia protocol. * Assist with activities of daily living, patient transport, intentional rounding, stocking, and ordering equipment. * Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care.
