Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will manage and direct the activities of maintenance technicians across the building. You will train technicians, conduct on-the-job training, performance appraisals, and needs assessments. Your role involves recommending and assisting in the development of training curricula. You will be responsible for the repair of all equipment, machinery, electrical and power systems, and building systems to ensure uninterrupted services and operations. You will serve as a mentor and technical resource for troubleshooting and work methods. Additionally, you will plan maintenance programs and work schedules to minimize equipment downtime, manage the maintenance and repair of building grounds, and oversee department budgets, staffing, and assignments. You will enforce company policies, implement safety programs, and conduct MBWA (Manage by Walking Around) to ensure team member safety and high standards of technician work methods. You will address team member concerns and recommend methods of operational improvement within your function area.

Hard Skills

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Maintenance lead position

  • Experience in facilities, United States Armed Forces, distribution and/or manufacturing environment

  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
