Job Description Summary:
The Internal Communications Specialist plays an integral role in supporting and implementing strategic internal communications plans and initiatives that align with Option Care Health’s core business objectives, values and mission. This role interacts with cross functional teams and leadership to execute on internal communications campaigns that inform and engage team members while driving workplace culture.
This position requires a passion for writing and editing engaging copy and when necessary developing corresponding visual elements. You should be a proactive go-getter and strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and proactively. Top notch writing, collaboration and organization skills are a must.
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
Write, edit, and develop engaging internal communications content to support organizational initiatives, culture, awareness, and engagement across the organization. Channels include HR and executive communications, newsletters, intranet articles, internal announcements, social media content etc.
Utilize storytelling skills to effectively communicate the company's values, mission and purpose.
Lead our intranet strategy to drive increased team member engagement, collaboration, and productivity. Maintain intranet by regularly publishing fresh content and facilitate engagement. Provide consultation to content owners on individual page functionality, content, and design. Oversee governance, day-to-day operations, metrics and internal advocacy.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy in communications while ensuring timely deliverables.
Regularly monitor, analyze and report and measure the performance of communications activities and campaigns.
Serve as a point of contact for the communications team to assist with questions, requests, escalations, etc.
Use creative ability to execute basic graphic design elements for internal campaigns and resources.
Stay up to date on industry news and trends and recommend adjustments to communications strategies and practices.
Maintain Option Care Health branding across all communication materials.
Undertake other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field; or equivalent experience
2-5 years of experience in a communications role in a corporate environment or agency setting.
Experience driving successful communications campaigns and results.
Basic Qualifications
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
A highly creative and strategic thinker who has a passion for communications, content creation and storytelling. Ability to tailor messaging persuasively and efficiently to various audiences.
Experience with internal communications and working with an intranet.
Ability to work proactively in a fast past environment, multitask, take initiative and ownership to drive issues and tasks to completion.
A self-starter with strong project management and organizational abilities. Able to meet daily demands and deadlines, as well as respond to urgent situations.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of quality focus.
Strong interpersonal and management skills for collaborating with corporate management, senior leaders, and team members.
Established problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Professional presence.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of basic design principles and experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) a plus.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Pay Range is $61,163.18-$101,960.70
