JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The College of Agricultural & Life Sciences is hiring a Facilities Manager to support the research, teaching, and outreach missions for the Animal Sciences Building, Stock Pavilion, Soils Building and King Hall, Hiram Smith Hall, and the Hiram Smith Annex. This position will work with the following departments: Animal and Dairy Science, Soil and Environmental Sciences, and Life Science Communications. This opening provides a great opportunity for someone skilled at working with specialized equipment such as distilled water systems, glycol chilling systems, cold rooms, growth chambers, autoclaves, ice machines, etc. This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students to help them achieve their goals and creatively address evolving needs within the departments. The position will serve as the Department Property Administrator (DPA) for the departments, including tagging and tracking capital equipment, assisting with purchasing as needed, and disposing of property in accordance with campus policies and procedures. The Facilities Manager will work with members of the campus Facilities Management and Planning staff to facilitate maintenance and repairs within the department\'s various buildings where research is conducted. This position will work closely with, and report to, the CALS Facilities Director.
