Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and talented Entry Software Developer to join our team in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP) and experience working on data projects. Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications using object-oriented programming principles.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and principles.

• Experience working on data projects, including data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python).

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with databases and SQL.

• Knowledge of web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Internship or relevant project experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
