Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technician

Job Description

The Electrical Engineering Technician will support several functions for a large R&D program focused on the Cyberknife. This role involves reworking electronic boards, bench testing, troubleshooting, and occasional soldering. You will need to read and understand schematics and may be required to attach boards directly to devices in a testing area known as the bunker. Additionally, updating cable drawings using programs like Visio, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Orcad will be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Rework electronic boards

• Perform bench testing and troubleshooting

• Solder electronic components when necessary

• Read and interpret schematics

• Attach boards to devices in the testing area

• Collaborate with bunker technicians or engineers

• Update cable drawings using Visio, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Orcad

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electronics and troubleshooting

• Ability to read and understand schematics

• Experience with soldering and electronic assembly

• Familiarity with test equipment and electronics testing

• Skill in debugging and working with printed circuit boards (PCBs)

• 3+ years of experience with electronics testing

• 3+ years of experience with PCB troubleshooting

• 3+ years of experience with board re-work

• 3+ years of experience with making edits to existing designs

• Associate's degree in electronics engineering

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with cable drawing programs like Visio, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Orcad

Work Environment

This role involves working on highly regulated precision radiation devices. The position is onsite, Monday to Friday, with a flexible start time between 7:30-8:30 AM. You will work closely with a tenured technician who has been with the team for 15 years.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $31.25
