This is a new initiative with an evolving team as the college implements Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) within L&S. The role is perfect for trailblazers passionate about building effective relationships while applying equitable practices that foster a community of belonging. Reporting to the Divisional Multi-Functional Research Admin Manager, the Divisional Post Award Accountant will work as division level post award accountant assisting with intramural and extramural grants administered by L&S and assisting with collaborative grants with other schools, colleges, and centers. The role involves key functions, such as: - Supporting L&S department grant management by serving as the grant worktag manager, in essence a fundamental resource to ensure work gets done timely, for departments and research centers. - Providing key grant administrative support and guidance to principal investigators (PIs) and staff, often working directly with PIs and their research teams. - Sending regular financial reports to PIs and departments on the status of grants and is responsible for financial compliance. - Serving as a liaison to Research and Sponsored Programs (RSP) on post-award issues and needs. - Being treated as part of the integral research team in supporting the research and having a key role in ensuring financial compliance.
