JOB REQUIREMENTS: Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist X-ray - 36943 Work Schedule : 80% FTE, day position. 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday with one day off per week. Rotation of start times from 7:30-8:30AM. On-call included at UW Health East Madison Hospital location. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay : UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - X-ray to: * Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. * Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. * Bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. * Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and participate in the instruction of other technologists and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.
