We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Technician with our client in Madison, WI. In this role, you will primarily provide technical support to our internal users, maintain our systems, and troubleshoot issues. You will be a part of an industry that is constantly evolving and will have the chance to enhance your problem-solving and customer service skills.

This is a Permanent Hire (FTE) role that will require an onsite work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems.

• Take charge of installing and configuring software and hardware such as printers and network cards.

• Handle the setup and maintenance of computer workstations and peripheral devices.

• Carry out system maintenance tasks including system upgrades, backups, and regular antivirus software updates.

• Troubleshoot system failures and pinpoint bottlenecks to ensure the long term efficiency of the network.

• Provide training to users on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and offer technical support.

• Document all issues and solutions in the organization's IT system for tracking purposes.

• Perform daily checks of the organization's IT systems' performance.

• Collaborate closely with the rest of the IT team and other departments to optimize the company’s IT system.

• Respond promptly to all IT-related tickets.

Requirements • Proficient knowledge in Computer Hardware is required.

• Demonstrated experience with Active Directory is essential.

• Proficiency in using Office 365 is necessary.

• Experience with Computer Imaging is a must. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
