DIVINE PACKAGE LLC Delivery Associate in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Divine Package LLC is seeking to fill 25 temporary, full-time peakload Delivery Associate positions for 10/01/2024 to 01/15/2025. Worksite: 3650 Milwaukee St., Madison, WI 53714 & sites in Dane, Green, Richland, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Dodge, Green Lake, Jefferson, Lafayette, Milwaukee, Rock, Iowa, Waushara, Fond du Lac, Adams, and Calumet counties. Job Duties: Load vans and deliver packages to residences and businesses. Practice safe driving standards. Interact with customers. Keep delivery vehicle clean, fueled and in good operating condition. Complete van inspections at start and end of shift. Move boxes up to 70 lbs. Use handheld technology to deliver packages and manage progress. Must have valid driver\'s license (cdl not required). Background and driving record check required of foreign and domestic workers. Drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire post-accident at no cost to workers. Hours can include overtime during peak season. Must be able to keep delivery vehicle clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times. Must be able to easily get in and out of the van and complete beginning and end of shift van inspection. Special Requirements: Must possess a valid US driver\'s license or eligibility to obtain driver\'s license in the U.S. within 15 days. Must be 21+. Must lift/carry up to 70 lbs., when necessary. Must have valid driver\'s license (cdl not required). Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Pre-employment background check and driving record check may be required of foreign and domestic workers, at no cost to the worker. Drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire post-accident at no cost to workers. Terms and conditions of employment: \$21.54/hr, 35 hrs/week, Mon-Friday 10:00AM-8:30PM. OT available at \$32.31/hour. Schedule varies with 3 days between Mon - Fri, and 1 weekend day, Sat or Sun.Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employees will be paid biweekly on Friday. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. On the job training available. Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Employer will make all deductions required by law and no others without written consent from worker. Potential elective deductions to be pre-authorized in writing if applicable are as follows: Employer to provide company-specific washable uniforms (shirt, vest, winter hat, winter gloves, and pants) at no cost to the worker. Each worker receives a \$125 credit from Amazon to shop a diverse selection of safety shoes through Zappos. Additional work safety boots available for voluntary purchase. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are \$15.88/day without receipts or up to \$59/day with receipts. The employer guarantees to offer work for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period, beginning with the first work day after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment and end on the expiration date sp cified in this job order or its extension. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a valid US driver\'s license or eligibility to obtain driver\'s license in the U.S. within 15 days.
