JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The McBurney Disability Resource Center\'s Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) team is hiring a DHH Services Manager. As someone with experience working with Deaf and hard of hearing populations, you will apply your knowledge and skills by: - Coordinating sign language interpreters and live professional captioners - Hiring, training and supervising interpreters or CART providers. - Applying knowledge of utilizing data to tell the story of service delivery - Providing consultation and resources to faculty, staff, students, employees, and community members regarding DHH services - Innovating services to meet the needs of end users in a dynamic higher education environment. - Presenting to campus partners about DHH related topics and services. - Organizing community activities and fostering a sense of belonging for Deaf and hard of hearing students, employees and visitors to our campus. Responsibilities: Develops program goals, approves purchases and tracks expenses, and supervises staff to ensure access to the physical, educational, and social activities of the institution. 5% Develops, implements, executes, and evaluates unit objectives to support the growth of the program and provide quality services to individuals with disabilities 20% Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees 5% Monitors the unit budget, approves expenditures, and track expenses 60% Plans and schedules logistics and secures resources to expand professional and academic advancement opportunities for disabled individuals 5% Oversees one or multiple disability service programs to ensure equal access for individuals with disabilities 5% Develops and presents...
