Robert Half is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data solutions to meet our business intelligence and analytics needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in solving complex data challenges and driving business outcomes through reliable, scalable, and insightful data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using both legacy and modern cloud-based architectures.

• Implement robust data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs. Demonstrated ability in bringing together data from disparate systems to a single source.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for executives and stakeholders to enable data-driven decision making. Ability to take a problem, do the analysis, and tell a story with the results a must.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data processing, analysis, and automation.

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance tuning for data and reporting solutions.

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver insights that drive business decisions.

  Requirements

• Strong experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines and working with both on-premises and cloud-based data ecosystems (Azure or AWS preferred).

• Proficiency in data modeling techniques (e.g., star/snowflake schemas).

• Advanced SQL expertise, including stored procedures and query optimization.

• Hands-on experience developing insights and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for data automation and processing.

• Knowledge of best practices in data quality, performance tuning, and governance.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures and frameworks.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies for project delivery.

• Certification in relevant tools or platforms (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Analytics).
