ADVANCED BUILDING CORPORATION Construction Laborer in MADISON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities. Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications. Position, join, align, or seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections or pipes. Provide assistance to craft workers, such as carpenters, plasterers, or masons. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: One year of construction or related experience. Familiarity with construction sites. Must have a valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation. Knowledge and ability to use small hand and power tools. Must exercise good problem-solving skills, both independently and within a team. Average 40-hour workweek with occasional overtime to meet deadlines or client needs. The ability to occasionally lift, carry, and hold objects weighing up to 40 pounds. The ability to frequently stand or walk throughout the workday.
