NEXT ELECTRIC, LLC Assistant Project Manager in MADISON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time Electrical Assistant Project Manager in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Summary Assists project managers ensuring continuity/efficiency of each project from start to finish Visits various construction sites and interacts with crew, customers, leaders, and general contractors to ensure jobs are running as expected Reviews estimates with estimators prior to submittal to customer to ensure accuracy Assists in managing productivity of craft workers and efficient use of materials/equipment, and overall contractual performance of projects Contacts vendors to obtain materials for projects Provides technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, equipment, etc. Tracks and reports project status updates to project managers Promotes a safe working environment for all work activities Qualifications 1 or more years\' experience in construction/electrical project management support Bachelor\'s degree in Construction Management or Business preferred Accubid experience preferred Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) Proficiency in use of PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) Strong mathematical skills Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
