JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: University Housing Dining & Culinary Services is hiring for an Assistant Manager Advanced - Unit Chef. Under the general direction of the Unit Manager, the Assistant Manager Advanced - Unit Chef oversees the daily culinary operations of the Liz\'s Market dining operations in Waters Hall, manages and develops staff, and provides exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for the leading and monitoring of the preparation, presentation and service of a wide variety of food in a multi-platform dining operation. This position ensures that products are fresh, attractive, and of high quality; monitors and maintains an adequate level of products (food ordering); and confirms that food products are produced, held, and served following safe food handling practices. The starting salary is \$55,000 for a candidate who needs to learn the responsibilities of the position and is not yet performing the full scope of the position.
