Opportunity Overview: We have an exciting opportunity for a Remote Microstation Drafter. This position will prepare clear, complete, and accurate conceptual and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches, notes or existing drawings. This position requires the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up with team members to finalize projects in a timely manner What your day-to-day looks like: Primarily 2D drafting using AutoCAD/Microstation Coordinating with others to gather pertinent drawing requirements Preparing and review rough sketches Creating new drawings and integrate them into existing drawing sets Revising existing drawings to conform to current company standards Distributing drawings for review by other team members Reviewing existing drawings Generating and organizing standard details What we'd like to see from you:
Education:
Associate degree in drafting and/or Certified AutoCAD User/Professional preferred but will accept previous experience subject to verification Experience/Requirements:
Skilled in AutoCAD 2010 or later. Strong written & oral communication skills Thorough understanding of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry Experience in related field preferred Proficient in using MS Office suite of software Ability to meet deadlines AutoCAD: 4 years (Preferred) drafting: 4 years (Preferred) Microsoft Office: 4 years (Preferred) pipeline: 4 years (Preferred) manufacturing: 4 years (Preferred)
