Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong carpentry skills and experience in repairing and installing door and window hardware, carpet, lights, and fixtures, performing light painting and tile replacements. Additionally, the General Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for other job-related tasks that may arise. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Repair and install doors/hardware

• Carpet/floor tile replacement

• Install/repair cove molding

• Install and maintain light fixtures

• Painting

• Install/repair blinds and window coverings

• Assist with event set-up and breakdown

• Assist with office moves and set up

• Perform litter pick-up around the campus

• Respond to maintenance requests promptly

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry, tools, and general maintenance

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects

• Valid driver?s license required
