Job Description: Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that inventory is efficiently managed, operations run smoothly, and all safety and regulatory standards are maintained. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.

Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to company policies.

Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, including regular cycle counts and audits.

Develop and implement efficient workflows, processes, and systems to optimize warehouse operations.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations, creating a safe working environment for all employees.

Coordinate with the purchasing and logistics teams to manage inbound and outbound shipments.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and identify areas for improvement.

Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment and ensure timely repairs.

Manage scheduling and staffing to meet operational needs during peak and non-peak periods.

Handle any discrepancies or customer complaints regarding orders or shipments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve issues quickly.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
