ManpowerGroup Application Engineer in Madison Heights, Michigan

Our client, in the Chemical industry, is seeking an Application Engineer to join their team. As an Application Engineer , you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent technical writing abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Application Engineer

Location: Madison Heights, Michigan

Pay Range: $41- $44 per hour

What’s the Job?

  • Develop new data and white papers to promote company expertise externally.

  • Influence and contribute to strategy and tactical planning for breakthrough technologies.

  • Troubleshoot applications at customer locations.

  • Meet with key global customers to identify new opportunities.

  • Establish and leverage external networks and partnerships.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.

  • 7+ years of automotive industry-related experience.

  • Experience in electronics technology (e.g., sensors, connectors, wiring/cabling, printed circuit boards, modules, semiconductors).

  • Experience with automotive quality systems and requirements.

  • Strong analytical thinking skills, including lean/six sigma/scientific application methods.
