Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Madison, AL

Shift: 1st Shift- 7:00AM-3:45PM - 2nd Shift- 7:00PM-3:45AM

Pay: $19.90HR-$20.90HR

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience operating sit-down forklifts and possess a strong awareness of their surroundings to ensure safety and efficiency in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials and products throughout the facility.

• Safely navigate around other forklifts and employees in a high-traffic area.

• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.

• Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to operate sit-down forklifts with precision in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
