Job Title: Avionics Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking Experienced Production Test Electrical Avionics Assemblers (Level B or Level C) to join the 787 Program in North Charleston, South Carolina. You will work on electrical assembly for aircraft systems using manual or automated tools.
Responsibilities
Test and install avionics equipment and electrical systems.
Inspect and troubleshoot communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
Perform maintenance and repairs on avionics systems.
Fabricate and install wire harnesses and electrical components.
Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Follow assembly guides and blueprints.
Install wire harnesses for electrical systems using connectors and terminals for secure connections.
Route wire harnesses through the aircraft and integrate avionics systems with the aircraft's electrical network.
Use diagnostic tools to test and calibrate systems.
Perform functional tests on electrical and avionics systems.
Complete final assembly, including avionics equipment and wiring, and conduct system verification tests.
Essential Skills
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
1+ years of experience in aerospace, aviation, or manufacturing.
1+ years of experience in electrical assembly or electronic materials.
1+ years of experience in avionics troubleshooting and wire installations.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and read blueprints in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ years of related work experience or equivalent education.
Experience with functional testing of aircraft electrical systems.
Knowledge of testing in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems.
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems.
Experience with the 787 Program.

Work Environment
Work in large teams with the flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. Typical shift times start at 5:30am. Be part of a fast-paced environment with opportunities to work with advanced tools and technologies, including circuit testers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, soldering irons, hand tools, power tools, and software tools for diagnostics and updates.

This is a Contract position based out of NORTH CHARLESTON, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00
