WHAT THE ROLE DOES:
- Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Interpret blueprints, drawings and measurements to plan layouts.
- Align and clamp work pieces together or position items in fixtures or jigs.
- Monitor the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion or shrinkage.
- Adhere to production schedule.
- Grind, cut, buff or bend edges of work-pieces to be joined to ensure snug fit using power grinders and hand tools.
- Inspect final product for quality assurance.
- Maintain, organize and clean equipment and the work area.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 4+ years of experience of Aluminum MIG Welding with a push/pull gun in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and designs.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Local to Anderson, Henderson, Kaufman and Van Zandt counties within an hour or less commute.
- Highly ethical, positive culture addition, self-motivated.

- Blueprint reading: 1 year (Preferred)
- Fabrication: 3 years (Required)
- Aluminum MIG welding: 3 years (Required)
