Internal Medicine and Family Practice Physicians are encouraged to consider an available full-time Primary Care Physician with Liberty Healthcare at the Hogan Regional Center in Hathorne, MA (Essex County).
The Hogan Regional Center is an intermediate care facility which provides a wide array of services to adults who are living with physical and developmental disabilities.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Ensuring patients receive high quality primary care
Conducting medical histories and physicals
Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions – and providing preventive health care
Ordering laboratory and diagnostic services
Prescribing medications and monitoring efficacy
Making referrals to medical specialists and coordinating specialty care
Documenting patient health information and services provided
Providing health education to staff, patients, families and guardians
Participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
Collaborating with the Hogan Center’s Medical Director as well as Nurse Practitioners, Physician Specialists, Pharmacists, Registered Nurses, and other clinical professionals and ancillary staff

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts and have completed a residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. You should be well versed in primary care and have an interest in serving people of all abilities.
