Liberty Healthcare Corporation Primary Care Physician in MA, United States

Internal Medicine and Family Practice Physicians are encouraged to consider an available full-time Primary Care Physician with Liberty Healthcare at the Hogan Regional Center in Hathorne, MA (Essex County).

The Hogan Regional Center is an intermediate care facility which provides a wide array of services to adults who are living with physical and developmental disabilities.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring patients receive high quality primary care

  • Conducting medical histories and physicals

  • Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions – and providing preventive health care

  • Ordering laboratory and diagnostic services

  • Prescribing medications and monitoring efficacy

  • Making referrals to medical specialists and coordinating specialty care

  • Documenting patient health information and services provided

  • Providing health education to staff, patients, families and guardians

  • Participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings

  • Collaborating with the Hogan Center’s Medical Director as well as Nurse Practitioners, Physician Specialists, Pharmacists, Registered Nurses, and other clinical professionals and ancillary staff

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts and have completed a residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. You should be well versed in primary care and have an interest in serving people of all abilities.
