Black River Valley Natural LLC dba Munn and Company Delivery Driver & Team Member in Lyons Falls, New York
The Delivery Driver and Fulfillment Team Member position is essential to the safe, effective, and efficient operation of Black River Valley Natural and is a non-exempt position and will report directly to the Operations Manager. This position will perform a wide range of tasks related to the pickup, safe handling and storage, order fulfillment, and delivery of dairy products and other value-added food products. This position will also be responsible for safe vehicle operation and order delivery as well as some equipment and facility cleaning and sanitation duties as required in a food warehouse and processing facility. Some light maintenance and troubleshooting could be required on occasion.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Delivery Driver and Fulfillment Team Member must be able to perform the following responsibilities and duties in a safe manner:
Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, food safety, and quality assurance rules and practices; Verify quality control items such as product weights, coding, packaging, GMPs etc; Maintain proper documentation in all required record keeping formats; Keep cooler clean and organized; Plan and schedule routes as to delivery customer orders and quickly and efficiently as possible; Work independently to schedule workload as to ensure first-time-right order execution and delivery; Prepare orders and verify packing lists and order information when loading and unloading; Qualifications and Skills
Proven history of attention to detail, good organizational skills, and strong communication skills; Demonstrate an understanding of our products; Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment; Must be able to demonstrate the ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency; Must be able to work with others in a team based environment but must also be able to work independently in a safe, efficient, and effective manner with little supervision on occasion;
